Our Process

Building a new home is one of the greatest milestones and memories you’ll make in life. And our team at Boise Hunter Homes is dedicated to making every step of the homebuilding process a joyful experience.

Here are the 10 steps we use to build our new homes:
#1 Pick Your Community

We have several communities to choose from, each with their own unique flavor and world-class amenities.

Sky Mesa

upper $600,000’s to $1,600,000

#2 Select Your Floorplan

Our New Home Sales Specialists will learn about your specific needs and will show you floorplans and structural options that meet your needs and budget.

Our proven floorplans, many designed by world-renown architects, provide the key features that our homebuyers consistently ask for: impressive kitchens, master suites, guest suites, offices, large windows, big garages, and functional spaces for play and recreation.

#3 Pick Your Lot

Finding the lot with the right view, yard, orientation — the right everything — can be a process, fortunately, we make it as easy as possible to find the right one for you.

On each of our community pages you can see the available lots for sale.

#4 Earnest Money Deposit & Contract

Once you’ve chosen a floorplan, structural options, and a homesite, it’s time to put these things to a purchase and sale agreement. We will lock in the price of your new home, receive any earnest money deposits, and work with the lender of your choice, if you require financing.

#5 Design Center

Next, you will visit our beautiful Design Center where you will select the finishes in your new home. From cabinets to backsplashes, lighting to flooring, and all the details in between, our Selections Coordinators are incredibly gifted at bringing your creative vision to life.

#6 Groundbreaking

Soon after your selections have been completed, your home will officially start construction. Around this time, you will meet your Superintendent and Buyer Experience Coordinator, who will oversee the construction of your new home.

#7 Construction Updates

Your Buyer Experience Coordinator will reach out regularly to discuss your home’s progress and what you can expect next.

#8 New Home Orientation & Move In Day!

Just prior to closing our team will introduce you to the features of your new home, and once your closing documents have been reviewed and signed, we will welcome you into your new home. Congratulations!! You now officially own a Boise Hunter home.
