Boise Hunter Homes Leads Move UpBuilders in the Treasure Valley
According to the Construction Monitor, Boise Hunter Homes lead the move up builders in the Treasure Valley as of September 12, 2013 with $29,586,020 in construction cost year to date. This was an increase of 118% over the same period last year. Boise Hunter Homes was followed by Brighton Homes with $28,583,309.
According to Jim Hunter owner of Boise Hunter Homes, the company has been successful by strategically locating communities where they know people want to live and by building exceptional quality homes. Their newest community Henry’s Fork in Eagle started construction in February 2013 and has sold 80% of their completed homes within 8 months.
CBH Homes lead the entry level builder’s category with $92,150,928 in construction cost year to date. They have seen a 52% increase from year to date. CBH Homes was followed by Hubble Homes LLC with $36,441,306 in construction cost.
The year to date figures are phenomenal and are a reflection that the real estate market will continue to recover. As more awards are given to Idaho like Forbes recognition of Boise as the Second Best City in America to raise a family, and Outsider Magazines placement of Boise as the number one place to live and play, people will continue to migrate to this beautiful state, creating more opportunity for builders in this remarkable state.
